The Rochester Youth Fastpitch Softball Association (RYFSA) is excited to announce its new scholarship program. There are two $1,000 scholarship awards, one for a current Rochester high school student and another for a current college student. The scholarship program recognizes students and past participants who have demonstrated sportsmanship, leadership, dedication, and community involvement through youth softball. This scholarship supports student-athletes who embody teamwork, perseverance, and integrity—both on and off the field.
Eligibility requirements
- Current Rochester high school student (graduating in 2026) or current college student who previously participated in RYFSA
- Participated in Rochester Youth Fastpitch Softball for at least three seasons (player, coach, or employee)
- Plan to attend—or currently attend—a college, university, trade, or technical school after graduation
- Demonstrate strong academic standing and community involvement
