Final call: 6U, 8U, and High School registration closes tomorrow
The grass is starting to turn green, and we are forming the teams that will soon be taking the field in May. If your daughter is interested in playing 6U, 8U, or High School, please register by midnight tomorrow, April 3.
Quick updates about the Spring season
- Updates from your coach: Players should be hearing soon from their coaches, who will be communicating additional season details by April 16.
- We are volunteer run: We need passionate, caring volunteers to join our Board to ensure the season is as successful as possible. Email jen@ryfsa.com if you are interested in joining us as a 14U Coordinator, Field Director, DIBS Coordinator, or Sponsorship Coordinator.
- RYFSA new look coming: As we take the field this Spring, we have a bold new look for our jerseys and branding. Look for it to drop soon.

Softball community
Mark your calendars: Cheer on RCTC Yellowjackets Softball and stay for a mini camp
The RCTC Yellowjacket Softball team is already taking the field and giving back to the Rochester softball community. On April 19, RCTC will be playing a double header, with games at noon and 2 p.m. After the second game, the coaches and players will be conducting a short camp for all RYFSA players 12U and under who want to attend.

Looking for a fun summer job in a team-focused environment? Rochester Softball is hiring concession stand workers for the upcoming season!
Position details:
- Season: Mid-May through early October
- Shifts: Typically six hours
- Schedule requirement: Must be available to work weekends
- Age requirement: Must be at least 14 years old
Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders and handle payments
- Prepare and serve food and beverages
- Operate concession equipment including grilling, as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines
What we’re looking for:
- Dependable and punctual individuals
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team environment
This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience, earn money, and be part of the Rochester Softball community this summer!

Minnesota Softball will be holding its RYFSA and Rochester Area Annual Softball Meeting on April 8, 2026, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Centerstone Plaza Hotel and the agenda will cover uniforms, rule changes, expectations, tournament schedules, post-season opportunities, and connection time with local assigners/directors.
